Katie is a loving and caring young lady who recently aged out of foster care and just got her first apartment. The hardest part about having been in foster care was being away from her brother, which continues to be a challenge, but she hopes to have a consistent relationship with them one day. Katie is a cosmetology student and will be graduating with her esthetician license in February 2025. During that time, she will also have her first baby. She has been working at Five Below since the summer of 2023 but is currently on leave due to her pregnancy.

Katie is thrilled to be expecting a baby girl in February and is eagerly looking forward to becoming a mom. She has spent countless hours preparing her home and learning about parenting, envisioning all the precious moments to come. However, her pregnancy hasn’t been without its challenges. Recently, she had to stop working due to persistent back pain, which has made everyday tasks more difficult. Despite this discomfort, Katie remains committed to her education and is determined to graduate on time, juggling coursework and studying from home. To help ease her pain, she would deeply appreciate the opportunity to receive a massage, as it could provide her with some much-needed relief during this exciting yet demanding time. The physical strain has been tough, but Katie knows that taking care of herself is essential for both her and her baby’s well-being. She is hopeful that with some self-care, she'll regain her strength and continue to embrace this beautiful journey into motherhood.
