Katie is a loving and caring young lady who recently aged out of foster care and got her first apartment. The hardest part about having been in foster care was being away from her brothers, which continues to be a challenge, but she hopes to have a consistent relationship with them one day. Katie is a single mom, who works part-time at a doctor's office and attends school to become a medical assistant.

Katie is super excited to welcome her baby girl! She wants to make the most of their time together and is dreaming of fun items to help them bond and play. One thing she really wants is a colorful play mat that’s perfect for laying, sitting, and tummy time. Sadly, she can't afford one right now since she doesn’t have a job and doesn’t have many friends to help. Having this play mat would make their time together even more special, letting Katie connect and play with her daughter during these important early days!
