This year, she has moved three times, which has caused her to fall behind in school due to the disruptions and gaps in her education. Despite these challenges, Melinda is determined to get back on track. She aspires to become a social worker when she grows up so that she can help children like herself feel safe and supported.

Melinda can hardly contain her excitement as she prepares for her first stay-away camp through school. She’s been counting down the days! One of the things she’s really looking forward to is using her air mattress with the built-in pump.
