Jael is a playful energetic kid whose favorite colors are purple and pink. She enjoys building forts with the couches and sheets in the living room with help from her grandma. Jael loves to watch Bluey in her fort. Her favorite character is Bingo. Jael has a big imagination and enjoys it when her grandma reads to her.

Jael has never had a bed or crib; she couch-surfed with her biological mother and sometimes slept on the floor alongside her. Her grandmother has taken Jael in, and she needs a bed because the Department of Health and Human Services advised that they cannot share a bed. Providing a bed for Jael will help her feel safe and give her a place of her own to sleep. Additionally, this support will ease her grandmother's financial burden, as she has been paying an immigration lawyer to assist her in becoming a U.S. resident.
