Donovan is an active and determined young man who is social and outgoing. He enjoys spending time with his friends and family. Despite having faced numerous challenges, he is making progress, although he still needs to work through some trauma from his past. Overall, he is doing well and continues to grow as an individual. Donovan has big dreams of overcoming his life experiences and is just beginning to navigate adulthood, which will require guidance and support along the way. He has a wonderful caregiver who has a lot of faith in his abilities. Additionally, he is a supportive brother and a valuable help around the house. Donovan is currently in foster care.

Donovan has always loved gaming, but he has never owned a gaming system of his own. He usually plays on a friend’s system or watches them play, and he doesn’t complain about this; he is simply happy with whatever options he has. He has always asked for a gaming system, but he has never had the opportunity or stability to get one. Donovan wants to fit in with most of the boys his age, who talk about their games and often play together. This sometimes makes him feel left out. He longs to be like his peers and doesn’t want to feel different because of his current situation. Although his caregiver has done her best, their limited budget means that sometimes things have to wait. Donovan never complains and understands that their situation is challenging. Getting a gaming system would help him feel more included and boost his self-esteem.
