A large set of special gripper socks for William to keep from slipping and sliding
William, 2 years old

Fostering Hope - BucksWilliam is a super sweet guy that has been in foster care since he was born. He has some special needs and receives loads of services! His foster family has been doing amazing to meet his unique needs. He is learning to walk but does suffer from a visual impairment that makes this a challenge. Doctors also believe he has a seizure disorder and will require more in-depth treatment in the months to come.
William has mobility issues and has been working with an occupational therapist (OT) and a physical therapist (PT) to improve his balance. He tends to lose his balance easily, but he does better when he wears shoes. However, he can't wear shoes indoors all the time. These socks are ideal for him because they have grippers for better traction and provide some compression to address his sensory needs. Plus, since the pack contains a large number of pairs, he won’t have to worry about having clean socks when he needs them!

"We are happy to share these arrived today! We dropped off to William and his foster mom was so appreciative. She said it seems so silly but these socks help him so much! She knows having clean ones on hand each day will make both of their lives so much better! Thank you so much for making a difference in this little man’s life! "
