Kegan is a spirited and high-energy kid who thrives on staying active. After his father voluntarily terminated his parental rights when Kegan first entered foster care, he experienced several transitions between different homes. However, Kegan has finally settled into a loving foster family where he has become a valued member. In 2025, Kegan's biological mother also voluntarily signed away her parental rights, further solidifying his place in his current home. Despite the challenges he has faced, Kegan remains a bright and enthusiastic boy. He looks forward to weekly visits with his brother, although they don’t live together. Kegan has a particular fondness for the outdoors and cherishes the time he spends taking walks with his foster mom, embracing the simple joys of nature and companionship.

Kegan is a very smart boy who needs to express his feelings. Over time, he has learned that writing his emotions on paper feels too slow for him. Kegan is currently going through the adoption process and is experiencing a lot of emotions that are building up inside, which makes it difficult for him to express himself without resorting to aggression. He recently learned about typewriters and wants to try one as a new way to communicate his thoughts and feelings. By using a typewriter, Kegan hopes to put his emotions on paper and find a way to work through his anger and frustration.
