Hamidyahh is part of a nonprofit housing program that’s helping her through some tough times with several DCPP cases. Despite all the challenges she faces, she’s determined to work on rebuilding her relationship with her children. Unfortunately, after a recent move, she wasn’t able to bring any of her things with her, which has made it really hard for her to feel settled in her new place. Having a dining table would make a huge difference. It would give her family a central spot to come together, share meals, and enjoy each other’s company. A dining space could really help create a warm and inviting atmosphere, making it easier for them to connect. Sitting down for family meals can relieve some of the tension, encourage open conversations, and strengthen their bond as they try to start fresh.
