Cecilia is a former foster youth who recently aged out of the system and currently works as a paraprofessional. She provides one-on-one support to students with special needs and disabilities. Special education has always been a passion for her, as she has two younger siblings with disabilities who are also in the foster care system. Throughout her day, Cecilia communicates with students, providers, caregivers, teachers, and school staff.

Throughout her day, she communicates with students, providers, caregivers, teachers, and school staff. One of her wishes is to have a device like an Apple Watch. This would be helpful because her phone isn't always accessible while she works closely with the students. Having the watch would make it easier for her to communicate with other adults, as she would have constant access to her messages.
