Serenity has been eagerly anticipating the 8th-grade trip for as long as she can remember. After a whole year learning about American history in class, she’s so excited at the thought of visiting Washington, D.C. with her friends. Over the past two months, Serenity has worked hard to raise money in her community, selling candy and doing yard work for church members. So far, she’s managed to gather about a quarter of the total she needs. Now, with the deadline for payment quickly approaching, her advocate has asked One Simple Wish to help make this dream trip a reality.
