He was born prematurely as a twin, which led to several health issues, primarily due to his underdeveloped lungs. As an infant, Zachary was placed in foster care and experienced multiple hospital admissions.
Zachary loves being outside and enjoying the fresh air. After spending so much time indoors at hospitals, he wants to take every opportunity to be outdoors. Being outside is very therapeutic for him. He would love playing in a turtle-shaped sandbox, which would help satisfy his sensory needs.
