Quintin entered foster care due to substance abuse issues in his family. Although it has been a challenging experience, he was placed in a foster home with another boy his age. The two have really bonded, and having each other to share the ups and downs has been very helpful. Although they recognized each other from school, they weren’t really friends until Quintin moved in. Now, they are inseparable. They are even both applying for jobs at the same location to make commuting easier! Quintin is trying to view his time in foster care as an opportunity to focus on himself and work toward a better future.

Quintin loves to spend his free time gaming. While he enjoys most video games, he has been particularly intrigued by a new baseball game since it was released. He would be thrilled to receive it as a birthday gift and knows he will spend countless hours playing with his foster brother. This enjoyable escape from the challenges of foster care is exactly what hardworking Quintin deserves.
