Quintin entered foster care due to substance abuse issues in his family. Although it has been a challenging experience, he was placed in a foster home with another boy his age. The two have really bonded, and having each other to share the ups and downs has been very helpful. Although they recognized each other from school, they weren’t really friends until Quintin moved in. Now, they are inseparable. They are even both applying for jobs at the same location to make commuting easier! Quintin is trying to view his time in foster care as an opportunity to focus on himself and work toward a better future.

Quintin and his foster brother are now the best of friends. When Quintin learned that his foster brother was getting a new swimsuit, he immediately asked for one for himself. He wants a matching set so they can look alike at the pool this summer. Quintin believes it will be so much fun, and people will recognize that they are brothers. These swim trunks will make a wonderful birthday gift!
