Kaitlyn is a smart, intelligent, and beautiful young woman. She participates in the Extended Foster Care program and has recently aged out of the foster care system. Kaitlyn took part in a Legislative Session in North Carolina to advocate for foster youth and had the opportunity to meet with the Governor. She is resilient and deeply passionate about her advocacy for foster youth in North Carolina.

Kaitlyn is a newly single mom to a beautiful baby boy, and as she navigates the challenges of motherhood, she is determined to provide the best for her son. This is her first child, and she is starting from scratch. Although she is facing financial challenges, she is working hard to provide a stable future for them both. Always selfless, Kaitlyn is willing to sacrifice her own wants and needs for the sake of her child. She is scheduled to start her Phlebotomy classes in April, and she will need the car seat to transport the baby to and from daycare safely.
