Alexis spent thirteen years in the foster care system, moving through a dozen different homes. The lack of stability was quite challenging for her, but she always worked hard to build a life for herself as best she possibly could. Alexis is passionate about the social impact space and has interned for many different non-profits over the years. She would also love to run her own small business in the future. In her free time, Alexis really enjoys going camping and spending time in nature!

Alexis is very focused on her career and wants to start interviewing for new jobs soon. She struggles with her self-image and would love to lose weight to feel more confident as she meets new people and puts herself out there. Although she has never been able to afford a gym membership, there is a Planet Fitness near her home that she hopes to begin attending regularly. Regular workouts at the gym would significantly boost Alexis's confidence.
