Hailie has faced many challenges while growing up. Her family relocated to Canada during her middle school years, and when she turned 18, her parents kicked her out, leaving her without a place to stay. Hailie then moved to Nebraska, where she accessed various services to help her develop skills for adulthood. She has worked on obtaining her GED, secured her own housing, and found employment.

Hailie is excited about her first job and treasures the independence it brings her. She has asked for a motorized scooter to reliably commute to work and needs a helmet to keep safe while riding. She found this teal helmet and would be thrilled to get it!
