James is a smart and caring young man who is currently living in a foster home without his older sibling. Foster care has been very tough for James but he has decided to work hard in school so that he can continue to play his favorite sport - basketball. James loves math and wants to be a basketball player and an engineer when he graduates college.

James wishes for an Easter basket this year because he has never had one before. He was invited to his neighborhood Easter egg hunt and basket reveal, and he found a basket that he really wants. It includes Nerf toys, which he loves. When he saw the basket, he begged his foster parent to get it for him. Granting this wish will give him a sense of pride and belonging, helping him feel included and part of the group.
