Jacob has lived in several different homes throughout his life. He experienced homelessness while living with his mother, which ultimately led to his removal from her care. Jacob requires ongoing therapy to address balance and motor skills issues. He enjoys both art and sports, although he faces challenges in both areas. Jacob likes school because it provides a safe environment with supportive teachers and friends. He is a loving child who often has a smile on his face, and he has a particular fondness for animals, especially dogs.

***Thanks to a few amazingly generous supporters who are underwriting the cost of select wishes, this wish is just $25 – today and tomorrow only!*** Jacob has faced challenges with both fine and gross motor skills for most of his life. Due to frequent changes in placements, it has been difficult to find a practice that can provide consistent support for him. He particularly struggles with balance, and it has been recommended that he use a Gibbon Board to improve his stability. This board is portable, allowing Jacob to take it with him if he has to move again. Ultimately, it will help him develop better balance, which could enable him to participate in sports in the future.
