Jennifer's life mission and passion is to advocate and support youth from the foster care system and youth with mental health challenges. As someone who spent the majority of her life in foster care throughout California, Jennifer battled a lot, including PTSD from the trauma she faced while in the system. While these mental health challenges have not gone away, Jennifer uses this is fuel to help others as well. Despite these challenges, Jennifer graduated with a master's in social work and is currently doing a post-master fellowship to obtain her license as a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) to give back and help foster/TAY youth. She hopes to work with foster youth in a nonprofit and work as an advocate and a therapist for youth from foster care. She enjoys listening to music, watching musicals and movies, and trying new food and dessert places.

Jennifer has battled cavities for years, and the cost of dental care can really add up. As a student carefully budgeting her expenses, she’s determined to keep her teeth as clean as possible. She understands the importance of flossing and is looking for a long-lasting, one-time solution to maintain her oral health. Receiving this item would truly make her day, as she currently does not have the capacity to make any more purchases on her own behalf.
