Cara is a resilient young woman who aged out of foster care at 18. Despite experiencing homelessness, she has fought for custody of her brother and is currently working as a waitress while studying to become a registered nurse. After the tragic loss of her sister in a car accident last year, Cara dreams of starting a program in South Carolina to support foster youth. An artist and aspiring author, she is writing a book about her journey to achieve her goals and give back to others.

Cara is a resilient young woman who has faced numerous hardships, including aging out of foster care and experiencing homelessness. Her greatest strength has come from her sister, who supported her during their time in care. After tragically losing her sister in a car accident last year, Cara has carried her memory with love. On National Siblings Day, Cara wishes to have flowers on her sister's grave, a heartfelt gesture to honor the person who helped her through difficult times. With her brother by her side, she wants to take a moment to remember and celebrate the love that shaped their lives.
