Joy is a bright and dedicated young lady. She excels as a student and will be graduating a year early. At home, Joy is a tremendous support for her family, especially during her mother's illness, which requires extra assistance. She is an extremely hard worker, motivated to succeed in all aspects of her life. Her family is receiving support from Children's Division.

Joy's mother has lupus and a high-risk pregnancy, which required her to take unexpected leave from work. As a result, she had to use all of the family's savings to ensure that her children had their needs met, including stable housing and food. Unfortunately, the family currently lacks the funds to pay for non-essentials. Joy hopes to participate in her graduation ceremony and not miss out on other important final-year experiences, such as prom. This wish will cover the costs of her cap and gown, yearbook, senior week activities, a shirt, and her prom ticket. She will be thrilled to take part in all of the end-of-year celebrations!
