Jorden spent time in foster care and aged out of the system, an experience that has shaped her strength, independence, and determination to build a better future. Jorden is a phenomenal person who now lives with her grandmother, whom she also helps care for. She is a loving mother to a sweet young boy and is deeply committed to providing for her family. Jorden enjoys helping others and does everything she can to make sure the people around her have what they need. She describes herself as intelligent, outgoing, and funny, and she always tries to see the positive in every situation. Jorden dreams of one day owning her own home so she can provide a stable and wonderful life for her family. She continues to focus on her future and works hard toward achieving her goals.

Jorden loves her yard; it's her special place away from the busyness of life. She has taken great care of every flower and blade of grass, making it a lovely, peaceful spot. But now her irrigation pump has broken, and she’s worried. Using tap water to keep everything alive isn’t practical because of the high costs, and she doesn’t want to see her beautiful garden struggle. She has put so much effort into this space for its beauty and the comfort it brings her. Getting a new irrigation pump is important to her—it will help her keep her yard healthy without worrying about big water bills. She can once again relax and enjoy the beauty of her favorite place, her sanctuary.
