Focus on Youth, Inc.Marah is a wonderful teen girl who has faced many challenges and struggles during her time in care. She has recently moved from a foster home to a residential setting due to mental health struggles. Because of this she struggles to stay in good spirits. Marah is a tough kid but still struggles with confidence and though she is working on this in therapy, it is still difficult for her to remain in good spirits at times while she’s in a new residential placement.
Marah enjoys collecting stuffed animals, particularly Squishmallows. She appreciates the variety of characters, and her love for anime often influences the types of designs she’s drawn to. She wishes for a Squishmallow to offer her a sense of comfort and familiarity. In a time of stress and uncertainty, having these soft toys around helps her feel more grounded and at ease. They provide a small but meaningful way to cope with the challenges she’s facing.
