Anna-Marie recently aged out of care. She is a dedicated and passionate student currently pursuing a degree in sociology with the aspiration of becoming a professor one day. Driven by a deep interest in understanding human behavior and social structures, Anna-Marie is committed to academic success and making a positive impact through education. Outside of her studies, Anna-Marie is the proud caregiver of three emotional support animals (ESA), Suki, Zula, and Meep, who bring comfort and companionship. These three beloved cats play an essential role in maintaining Anna-Marie's well-being, offering unconditional love and support. In addition to her academic and personal responsibilities, Anna-Marie is also a creative soul with a love for writing and dreams of one day publishing a book that will share their unique voice and perspective with the world.

Due to the housing crisis in California and her need to leave transitional housing, she now stays at different friends' and family members' homes while she waits for permanent housing support. Although Anna-Marie recently started a part-time job, as a full-time student, it's challenging for her to earn enough money to ensure food stability. To help her stay within a strict food budget, she has improved her cooking skills by preparing pre-planned meals and cooking whenever she has the opportunity. She would love to have a portable grill, as it would easily fit in her car and give her a "kitchen" to cook and eat at any time, particularly since she doesn't always have access to one where she stays overnight.
