Alondra is very intelligent and has impressive grades at school. Alondra currently participates in her school’s track team. Alondra has reported that she enjoys track and plans on doing long jump, long distance, and hurdles. She is shy and takes time to open up to people but cares deeply for her siblings. Alondra has been a caretaker to her siblings previously and shows her protectiveness of them when workers see her for home visits. Since being placed in foster care, the foster parents have been trying to incorporate new ways for the family to spend time together and to maintain normalcy for the children.

They love spending quality time together outdoors, creating fun and lasting memories. Recently, they noticed that the kids are really interested in learning how to ride bikes! However, the bicycles they currently have are a bit too small for Alondra. So, they thought that getting a bike that fits her would not only be a great way for her to exercise but also a perfect opportunity for some quality bonding time as a family.
