Morgan was in the foster care system since she was 13 years old. Now a new mother, she is raising her daughter on her own and providing her with full-time care. Morgan has drawn support from friends and family to reach this point in her life. She enjoys art and music and has even created her own songs. Morgan describes herself as adventurous and loves spending time with friends. Despite facing many challenges during her young adult life, she has shown remarkable resilience. Morgan is diligently seeking employment; however, she currently does not have her own phone. As a result, she has to list the phone numbers of friends or family members on her job applications. This often leads to employers calling when Morgan is unavailable, causing her to miss out on interview opportunities. Having a new phone would give Morgan the independence she needs to connect with potential employers and maintain her relationships with family and friends.
