Angelique is currently involved with DCPP and enrolled in the LifeSet program. She became involved with the program while experiencing homelessness due to a tumultuous relationship with her biological mother and stepfather. Angelique has worked diligently in high school to ensure she graduates this year. She is successfully transitioning into adulthood and is now living independently in her own apartment. Her journey has been challenging; she previously lived in a motel while attending high school during the day and working nights. Despite these struggles, she remains determined and has achieved good grades. Angelique has been consistent with her school attendance, which has helped her understand the material better. As a newcomer to the school, she faced challenges fitting in and felt embarrassed about her living situation. However, her teachers have praised her resilience and progress, and she has made new friends whom she plans to keep for life. In her free time, Angelique enjoys reading, painting, crafting, and engaging in any activity that allows her to be creative and use her imagination. She also likes going for walks to observe nature and runs for exercise. Angelique finds joy in window shopping, which motivates her to work hard, knowing that one day, she will be able to afford the things she desires. She treasures spending time with her sisters and friends as well.
