Genevieve entered foster care when she was a preteen and aged out of the system after many foster home placements and much tumultuousness. Despite so much change, Genevieve persevered, working and attending college for several semesters as a young adult. Genevieve is currently taking a break from her schooling to stabilize in a new city, where she feels like she will be safer and there will be more work opportunities.

After a long journey of unstable living situations, Genevieve finally has a place to call home. She recently began working as a cake decorator, and while she waits for her first paycheck, she hopes to receive support in purchasing a hoodie to keep warm at work. She doesn't own many clothes, and the kitchen is quite cold. Granting this wish would help Genevieve continue to stabilize her new life.
