Kiani has been in and out of foster care since she was five years old. She is resilient, kind, and caring towards others. Kiani has experienced significant trauma, which she is actively addressing through weekly therapy sessions. She is enrolled in a GED program. In the future, she hopes to obtain her cosmetology license. She recently moved into an independent living program and started working at Stop & Shop.

Kiani has a brother and sister who are not currently living with her. She used to have a phone, but it recently broke and is no longer functioning. Kiani shares a close bond with her siblings, and having a phone helped her maintain this connection. She would greatly appreciate receiving a new phone, not only to communicate with her siblings but also to continue applying for jobs and to ensure that potential employers can contact her for interviews.
