MO DSS Children's Division - Saline CountyChris has been in foster care for many years and has thrived with the support of his foster parents. Although he has a neurological developmental disability that affects his daily functioning, with careful planning and preparation, Chris is excited about starting college.
Chris is an avid video gamer who is preparing to graduate from high school and head off to college. He currently shares a Nintendo Switch with the other children in his foster home. Since Chris struggles with change, he will be living on campus, and he hopes to get his own Nintendo Switch Lite to help him adjust to his new environment.

"Hey Chris, hope you enjoy the switch! I'm an avid gamer myself, and neurodivergent. Somewhere on the spectrum, so I can relate to some of your struggles. Can't express how absolutely proud I am that you've been able to graduate and now you're moving on to college. Dude, congrats!!! Hope this gift can help make your transition a little easier. I'll be rooting for your success! One day when you have the chance, spread the love wherever you can."
