With prom approaching, Jessica hopes to enjoy this special occasion alongside her classmates and make normal memories that she can reminisce about with her family in the future. Despite facing challenges in making friends due to her foster care experience, her desire to participate in events and connect with others remains strong.

Jessica was in foster care for seventeen years. She is working to establish a new life outside of foster care and restore some normalcy in her life.
