Leah is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in psychology and aims to earn a master’s in social work. Her goal is to help foster and justice-involved youth find stability and hope, using her own experiences as a source of healing and guidance for others.

Leah is a hardworking and resilient single mother who has overcome years in foster care and an unhealthy relationship to build a safe and stable life for her 4-year-old daughter. After aging out of the system, she used available resources to secure their first apartment, where they now live happily together. Her wish is for a bed frame to help furnish their home and create a more comfortable, stable environment for herself and her daughter. After everything they’ve been through, having a sturdy and supportive bed frame would bring both physical comfort and a deeper sense of home, something Leah has worked so hard to provide. This small act of support would go a long way in honoring the strength and love that fuels Leah’s journey.
