Jessica is special because she has the unique ability to share her life experiences—experiences in care that have shaped who she is today. Growing up, she faced many challenges and had to find ways to navigate difficult situations. Those experiences taught her resilience, strength, and empathy. Today, she is a proud mother of two beautiful children, and everything she has gone through has helped mold her into the person and parent she is now. Her story offers a unique perspective, and she hopes to use it to inspire and educate others. Jessica continues to receive support from Foster Advocates.

Jessica is requesting noise-canceling AirPods. As a student with ADHD, she finds it challenging to concentrate when there’s distracting noise around, whether studying or working independently in class. Noise-canceling headphones would help block out those distractions, allowing better focus. Listening to music helps soothe her mind and improve my concentration much more than working in complete silence.
