Rose is a beautiful young woman stepping confidently into adulthood. Though life has presented her with many challenges, including learning disabilities and the heartbreak of being abandoned by both her biological and adoptive families, Rose has never let those hardships define her. She is determined to build an independent life, one step at a time. With focus and perseverance, she has learned how to cook, clean, and take care of herself—skills she’s proud to keep improving with the support she welcomes along the way. Rose is creative at heart. She finds joy in music, especially Japanese songs, and fills her world with art, reading, writing, and her ever-growing Pokémon card collection. She describes herself as hardworking, loyal, smart, resourceful, and caring—and those around her would agree. Now preparing for one of the biggest transitions of her life—aging out of foster care—Rose is looking ahead with hope. She’s ready to begin college classes, find meaningful employment, and continue shaping the life she’s always dreamed of. Her journey hasn’t been easy, but her strength, spirit, and determination shine brighter than any challenge she’s faced.
