Sherrod is very curious about science; it is his favorite subject in school. He lives with his dad, four siblings, and his dog, Prince, whom he affectionately calls "Buddy." Sherrod enjoys walking his dog and cuddling with him at home while watching movies. Recently, Sherrod and his family transitioned into housing after experiencing homelessness, which has caused him to struggle with significant anxiety. However, he is receiving support to help him cope with this anxiety.

Sherrod has recently developed a love for reading, much to his parents' delight. This new interest has led him to spend less time playing video games. Reading offers an excellent coping mechanism that helps him manage difficult emotions, especially anxiety. To further improve his reading skills, Sherrod is requesting this series of Piggy books.
