Jaya has spent several years in foster care and has recently aged out of the system. She is currently living in an independent transitional living facility. Throughout her time in care, she has experienced over a dozen placements, including hospitalizations and being relocated across the country twice. Despite lacking a stable home and family foundation, Jaya has dedicated herself to building a brighter future. She has focused on her studies and is working towards a competency-based diploma. She is set to graduate this month!

Jaya has had a very challenging life, but she has worked hard and will soon be graduating! It's been a remarkable journey filled with many ups and downs, but she has made everyone proud by dedicating herself to improving her future. She would love to have some new clothes to celebrate her special day!
