Ruby is a hardworking foster youth who is working on her independence. Since being in foster care, Ruby has had to learn how to be self-sufficient without her family leaning on caseworkers and friends for support. Ruby has begun her college career and is excited about where it will take her in the future. Ruby is kind and enjoys hikes and watching her favorite shows!

Ruby has just been accepted into a transitional housing program for foster youth. She is excited to feel at home in her new space. For her birthday, Ruby would love to have a functional desk and bookshelf for studying. Since she has taken most of her college classes online, having an organized space to learn is very important to her!
