Ken is a kind young man who has faced many challenges in life. He was in foster care during his preteen years before being adopted, but shortly before turning 18, he found himself back in foster care. Ken is a motivated, athletic, and sociable individual. He consistently earns A's and B's in school and will graduate not only with a diploma but also with a skills license. He enjoys a variety of sports and is dedicated to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Ken loves spending time with his friends and is eager to learn how to drive. He is well-spoken and excited to explore independent living options.

Ken has had a challenging senior year. He is about to turn 18, but in the month leading up to his birthday, he faced numerous difficulties at home. These issues led to a significant drop in his grades due to missed assignments, and ultimately, he ended up moving back into foster care. He is missing many of his personal belongings and is working hard to adjust to his new environment. Despite these challenges, Ken refuses to let them hold him back. Since returning to school, he has quickly improved his grades and has been accepted into the National Technical Honor Society. During such a tough time in his life, he has managed to keep his spirit bright. These headphones would celebrate his resilience and everything he has accomplished this school year.
