Robert, commonly known as Rob, is a young individual participating in the LifeSet program. He joined this program after becoming part of the foster care system later in life. Rob is a forward-thinking person; he has a clear vision for his future and is diligently preparing financially to achieve his goals. Although Rob enjoys the finer things in life, such as designer clothing and shoes, he is focused on saving money to buy his first car and accumulate enough for a security deposit on his first apartment. Once he owns a car, Rob plans to pursue an auto mechanic program in Pennsylvania, where he ultimately wants to move since most of his friends and family live there. In his free time, Rob enjoys playing video games like GTA and Call of Duty with his roommates. He also loves visiting Philadelphia to spend time with family and friends. Rob feels that he is meant to live in a city, as he enjoys the lively and dynamic atmosphere that urban environments offer. He understands that working as much as possible is the best way to reach his financial goals.

Rob is a determined young man who is actively seeking job opportunities with the help of his support system. He faces challenges completing applications and updating his resume because he doesn’t have a laptop. A laptop would greatly help him, especially as he prepares to start trade school in Pennsylvania next year. Having access to a laptop would allow Rob to apply for jobs more easily, save money, and work towards his goals of buying a car and moving into his own apartment by 21. It's essential for his personal growth and independence.
