Mia is an independent young woman in foster care who wants to become a Patient Care Technician. She is dedicated to her studies and committed to building a future where she can provide compassionate care to others. Despite experiencing traumatic events in her past, she views those challenges as the foundation of her strength, shaping her into the resilient and determined person she is today.

Mia is currently facing transportation instability while living in a rural area with very limited access to public transit. She is enrolled in a vocational program and remains committed to attending school four days a week, despite the challenges of getting to class. Due to financial hardships and the lack of reliable transportation, Mia would greatly benefit from receiving an Uber gift card.
