Nickolie currently lives in a group home and is feeling isolated from his siblings. He has suffered neglect and abuse while in his biological family home. Despite these challenges, he remains a joyful and playful young man. He enjoys making new friends and bringing joy to others, even when he himself is feeling blue.

Nickolie has grown significantly over the past year and hopes for a new pair of shoes. He hopes to receive a pair that will keep him comfortable while learning to ride a skateboard, ride a bike, and participate in other outdoor activities. His current shoes are too small and hurt his feet; he even has them taped together to prevent his toes from coming through the sides. Getting a new pair of shoes would truly make his day.
