The Lost & Found Institute

Kia is a dedicated college student majoring in education, driven by a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of others. Growing up in a challenging environment, she spent much of her childhood in and out of juvenile detention facilities, as well as in foster homes and group homes. Before aging out of the foster care system at 18, Kia experienced the loss of her parents, who passed away. Despite these hardships, Kia has channeled her experiences into her ambitions. She loves to sing and write, using her creativity as a means of self-expression and healing. Kia aspires to be a role model for other girls who have faced similar struggles, hoping to inspire them with her journey and demonstrate that a brighter future is possible. Her commitment to education and advocacy reflects her desire to create positive change for those who have experienced adversity.

Whether it’s a delicate chain, a personalized design, or something with a little sparkle, Kia hopes this gift will be a cherished reminder of the love and thoughtfulness from her nearest and dearest.
