Isla is an independent and determined young woman who is about to graduate high school. She lives with a family friend after being in the foster care system for three years before aging out. Currently, Isla is focused on graduating, finding a job, and securing her own apartment. During her time in foster care, she fell behind on her high school credits, but she has worked diligently to catch up. Isla is on track to graduate on time, and she recently started a full-time job as a home health aide, which she is balancing with her studies.
