MO DSS Children's Division - Shannon CountyBianca is a young lady who has faced significant challenges in her life due to the tragic passing of her parents. Her journey through foster care has taken her across several states, moving from one family member to another, until she finally found a foster home 1,700 miles away from where it all began. Each move was often abrupt, forcing her to leave behind much of her belongings and the sense of stability she longed for. Despite these hardships, Bianca remains determined to pursue her dreams of going to college and building a successful future for herself. Her resilience and hope continue to inspire her in the face of adversity.
Bianca recently moved into her apartment just off of campus and is learning independent living skills. Cooking is new to her, and she is excited to learn all there is about it. Bianca could really use a good set of pots and pans. Currently, she only has a small, thin set that scorches most of what she tries to cook. A more sturdy set would benefit her very much and boost her confidence as she learns to navigate the world of living on her own.
