Radamia, or Mia as her friends call her, is a strong and determined person who has faced tough times but always keeps moving forward. She has a big passion for nails and dreams of becoming a nail technician. Even though it wasn’t easy to figure out how to start, Mia didn’t let life’s challenges hold her back. She took a big step by enrolling in a local GED program and worked hard, finishing her studies even faster than some of her classmates. After getting her diploma, she received help from the OCA scholarship, which allowed her to join a beauty academy’s nail technician program. In less than a year, she earned her certification! Now, Mia is preparing for her National Board Exam, getting closer to her goal of becoming a licensed nail technician. Besides her career dreams, Mia is known for being kind, independent, and positive. She loves doing nails, hanging out with friends, and has recently started enjoying fitness and taking care of herself. Her journey shows that no matter how tough things get, it’s possible to achieve your dreams and find happiness.
