Luke is a remarkable young man who was born a twin to a mother struggling with addiction. He and his brother were born prematurely and faced several challenges, including a learning disability. However, Luke has shown great resilience. After two years in foster care, he is on track to be adopted by a loving couple. Luke loves sports and enjoys playing video games that involve tasks and racing, which help him improve his skills and have fun.

Luke's foster parents have always been his biggest cheerleaders, recognizing his incredible talent for sports. He dreams of joining a football team and can’t stop thinking about how amazing it would be to get a pair of football shoulder pads. Just the idea of having a uniform and being part of a team brings him so much joy. However, the season has already kicked off for the team he dreams of joining. His guardian is struggling financially and simply can’t afford the protective gear he needs. Joining the team would give him a sense of belonging and the social connections he really needs. Plus, the discipline he learns from being part of a team could help him tackle the challenges he's faced throughout his young life.
