Laniyah has been in foster care since she was four. Despite facing many challenges, including periods of homelessness, she has remained focused on her goals. She recently completed an internship and hopes to begin dental assisting school soon. She loves skating, writing, trying new foods, and making people laugh. Her dream is to own an electric bike or scooter to help her get to school and work, and continue beating the odds stacked against her.

As she transitions out of her current support program, she will no longer have access to transportation assistance. This wish would give her the freedom and independence to continue reaching her goals, like completing dental assisting school, without the stress of figuring out how to get there. It’s a practical step toward stability and long-term success.
