Joshua is attending California State University. He resides on campus and works part-time as a fast-food cashier. Joshua is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and hopes to use his degree to either pursue a career in finance/accounting or become a secondary school teacher.

Joshua does not currently own a car or possess a driver’s license, though he is actively working on obtaining one. Transportation has become a challenge, especially when commuting to his job a few miles from campus. He often relies on public transportation or rideshare services, which can be costly while also managing bills. Joshua would like an electric scooter that would greatly improve his ability to travel to work and class efficiently and affordably. This would significantly ease Joshua’s academic and personal responsibilities
