Sophia is a determined young woman in foster care living with her two siblings. She’s committed to staying close to her family and has expressed that she does not want to move out, valuing the stability and support their home provides. She recently completed her GED, and in addition to her studies, Sophia is preparing to begin an internship in child development with her social worker, an opportunity that reflects her interest in helping others and potentially working with youth in the future. Sophia's journey highlights her strength, determination, and a strong sense of duty to herself, her siblings, and her future.

Sophia is preparing to apply for a job at LAX, where all-black clothing is a requirement. Due to moving multiple times over the past year, she has lost or outgrown many of her clothes and is in need of a week’s worth of black attire to be properly prepared for work. This includes items such as jackets, formal wear, and comfortable shoes suitable for long shifts. As a young adult in foster care, Sophia is taking meaningful steps toward employment and independence. Having the appropriate wardrobe will allow her to present herself professionally. Granting this wish will give Sophia the confidence and resources she needs to take this next step toward stability and success.
