Maya is a talkative, open, and caring young woman with a huge heart. She’s sensitive to the needs of others and considerate of other people’s feelings. She enjoys spending time “chatting” and just hanging out. She likes to process things verbally and talk everything out, which is how she connects with people. Maya is very creative and enjoys crafting. She likes to paint, draw, color, and make beaded bracelets. She’s very generous with her creations and enjoys creating items for others. She’s also working on her cooking and baking skills and enjoys learning how to make various meals and making delicious desserts! She’s open to new experiences and would be willing to try your favorite activity or hobby! Maya is a huge animal lover. She enjoys learning how to ride and care for horses and has volunteered at pet stores, cleaning and caring for the animals… and she loves it! She’s also considering being a social worker one day as she wants to help people and animals!

Maya has recently moved into a small apartment after aging out of the foster care system. This new step is important for her, especially as she deals with anxiety and other challenges that made living with a caregiver hard. She’s excited but also nervous about this change and is currently looking for a job to support herself. One essential item she wants is an air fryer. Since she doesn't have a stove or microwave, an air fryer would help her cook simple meals. It would make her transition to living on her own a bit easier until she can get a stove. Having that air fryer would help her feel more independent in her new home.
